  • Bill Murray is one of 9 kids – he has 3 sisters and 5 brothers.  The Murray Brothers are: Ed, Brian, John, Bill, Andy and Joel.  Bill Murray and his brothers grew up caddying and playing golf, which inspired Brian Murray to write Caddyshack.  Many of the brothers participated in the making of the movie and can be found standing around in some of the funniest scenes.  In fact, the oldest brother, Ed, is the real live Danny Noonan from Caddyshack.

  • The plaid you see on the apparel is The Murray Family Tartan dating all the way back to Scotland where their ancestors are from.  These plaids were used to identify families and are commonly referred to as a “Tartan”.  Read more about the Murray Family Tartan on the About Us page here
  • The green eyelet (or rivet on pants/shorts) says "Murray Brothers" and is a nod to all of the brothers that we include on every piece of apparel we make. Even though the brand is named after Bill, all of the brothers are part of the brand and this is a little way to include them on everything.
  • No, we do not offer or honor discounts or coupons found on websites such as PRMDeals or RetailMeNot at this time.

Product Help

  • All the materials we use are very comfortable and pass the “Bill could sleep in this” test.
    Polos – Our polos are made from a poly/ elastane blend. You won’t need to iron these polos, they come out looking great every time.
    Shorts – Our shorts are made from a nylon/poly/ elastane blend with an elastic waistband that has just enough give.
    Button Up – Our button up shirts are four-way stretch and made from a poly/ elastane blend. You’ve never felt a button up quite like this one. Best news – they are wrinkle resistant, so no need to waste money dry cleaning these shirts.
  • Our gear all have the same care instructions/recommendations:
    -Machine Wash Cold / Lay flat to dry: Minimal to no shrinkage
    -Machine Wash Cold / Machine dry Low: up to 5% shrinkage appx 1/4" around

    Please note: The logos are heat transferred, so applying excessive heat (ie, ironing, dry cleaning, high heat drying) can cause the logos to come off.
  • Polo – Our polos are made with a more relaxed fit, but not your grandfather’s boxy style.  If you are in between sizes or you prefer a slimmer, tighter fit, we recommend sizing down.
    Button Down – Our button downs are a little more slim fitting than our polos.   If you prefer a more relaxed fitting button down, we recommend sizing up.
    Shorts/Pants – Our shorts and pants have waist sizes, so hopefully you know your size.  They also have an elastic waistband with some extra give.  The inseam of our pants is 33 inches.

  • When an item/size is out of stock, a box will appear that says “enter your email address.”  Choose the size you’re looking for, enter your email address, and click the “notify me” button to the right of the box.  A note will appear saying your notification has been registered.

    You will be notified via email if the item becomes available due to a return/exchange or a full restock.

    It’s important to sign up because we look at the number of requested notifications when determining which items to reorder.

  • We will gladly take eligible returns within 60 days of delivery as long as they are returned in the same, new condition with any original tags.

  • Orders with standard or priority shipping are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Please keep in mind that orders placed during peak shipping periods such as the first day of each month, promotional events, and holidays, may take an additional 1-2 business days to process due to the high volume of orders. We will do our best to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.

    As soon as your order ships, you will be provided with a tracking number via email so you can track the status of your shipment. Once your tracking number is updated for the first time (usually 24-48 hours after you've received a shipping notification from William Murray Golf), you will be able to see the carrier's estimated delivery date for your order. This date is just an estimation, and may change during transit.

    Orders with Expedited 2-Day and Overnight Shipping will ship the same day, as long as the order is placed before 2pm CT (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Orders placed after 2pm CT will ship the next business day.
